Brighten up your blue Monday with some vibrant purple! – Tutorial

Today’s super easy purple look with step by step instructions!

  1. Prep your lid with some primer.
  2. Take a fluffy blending brush and a warm brown and sweep it backwards and forwards in an arch motion to create a transition shade (a shade between your skin colour and the purple, helps the look blend seamlessly).
  3. Take a flat eye shadow brush and packΒ a purple shade allover the lid, this doesn’t need to be neat as you’ll be blending it out.
  4. Use a small blending brush, using circular motions run it over the purple line to blend it all in.
  5. Take a much smaller brush and run the purple shadow along the lower lash line.
  6. I then picked up the flat brush again and packed some Urban Decay – Tonic eye shadow to the middle of the lid to give it a gorgeous iridescent bluey-purpley glow.
  7. Add mascara and lashes.
  8. Last but not least, use a white, shimmery shade to highlight the inner corner of your eye.

Products used
Transition shade: MAC – Saddle (you can use any warm brown shade)

Purple: Juvias Place, Masquerade pallete – Makeda Β (Makeup Geek also do an amazing purple eye shadow,Β find it here)

Iridescent shade: – Urban Decay – Tonic

Inner corner shimmer –Β Juvias Place, Masquerade palette – Giza (or literally any shimmery highlight)

Hope you like it! The tutorial looks a little different to the header image as I wore this look for work today and was asked for a tutorial so quickly recreated in when I got home.
Brows aint on fleek after a whole day at work, apologies! xx
